There is no activity, where measurements do not have a crucial importance: scientific research, ecology, medicine, transport, communication, fuel and energy industry, construction, housing and public utilities, assurance of defense capacity, nanoindustry.

From 2007, the competition “For measuring unity” has been held in the framework of the exhibition “Metrology” on the basis of the expert committee of Federal State Enterprise “Rostest-Moscow”. Based on the results, tools and equipment, which proved their high metrological characteristics are awarded with “Quality Mark” in one of the five nominations.
